Text Description:
Lava flow phase. Dark gray, streaked block collected from the terminus of the 1986 lava flow. Phenocrysts are plag, opx, cpx, oxides, and trace ol (skeletal and resorbed). Matrix contains zones of microcrystalline (plag-px-ox) groundmass juxtaposed with microlite-free, colorless glass.
