Explosive phase. Light gray volcanic bomb partially buried in 1986 pumice flow. Phenocrysts of plag, opx, cpx, oxides, and trace amounts of skeletal and resorbed ol set in a highly vesiculated groundmass of clear, microlite-free glass.
