Sample is a 3-cm-thick bulk peat in contact with overlying tephra B-T1 (maximum age). -1800--Kenai River flats, Alaska. One tephra sampled from this location. Several thin tephras (<3 mm) were also present but not sampled. Location imprecisely georeferenced from Figure 1 of Combellick and Pinney (1995). A 3-cm-thick tephra layer in peat.
