Pale-white tephra that is 1 cm thick and occurs approximately 28 cm below the surface. Above the tephra is brown and tan mottled loess with numerous interbedded layers of peat and below the tephra is 20 cm of loess and peat and a sharp contact with underlying ice-contact stratified drift.
