R.< 3170 ± 170 14C; 8881; Radiocarbon dated peat (S852BP) that is 1 cm thick and occurs approximately 158 cm below the surface.At the intersection of the Glenn Highway and West Dolphin avenue, 0.8 km north of Palmer, Alasksa. Seven tephra recorded in the stratigraphy at this small roadcut, one of which was a couplet and all of which were analyzed. See Fontana (1988) for detailed stratigraphy. Coordinates provided as degrees/minutes and converted to decimal degrees; datum not provided, assumed to be NAD83.
