Text Description: unit C tephra, a 35 cm brown fine to very fine ash with scoria clasts with what may be reworked Veniaminof CFE #2 from below but there is a 5–10 cm zone below and in contact with Veniaminof CFE #2 that is fine grained and does not contain any coarse scoria so think this may be the wet, poorly sorted tephra fall we see elsewhere? check pumices; or it may be CFE #2 clasts mixed in with loessy brown sediment References: ![]() |
