Maximum thickness of 3 cm. In muck with isolated cobbles of White Channel gravels overlying columnar jointed lavas. Tephra bed is a few centimetres above the lavas. Overlying the tephra bed is at least 10 m of muck containing mammal fossils. Field name MWM5.

From Preece and others (2000): 80 Pup and Old Crow tephra beds must have very similar ages given their stratigraphic proximity.Hunker Creek, Yukon Territory, Canada. Site 4 of Preece et al. (2000). 10 m of muck containing mammal fossils overlying 1 m of gravel; isolated cobbles of White Channel gravels overlying columnar jointed lavas. This section was destroyed during placer mining opration. Coordinates from Preece et al. (2011). Datum not specified, assumed to be NAD83.Maximum thickness of 3 cm.
