Maximum thickness of 10 cm. 1 m long lens at the base of 10 m of muck overlying 1 m of gravel. In July, UT14 was exposed at a similar horizon to UT17. Bubble-wall shards and lesser amounts of pumice. Field name MWM4.

(2000). 10 m of muck containing mammal fossils overlying 1 m of gravel; isolated cobbles of White Channel gravels overlying columnar jointed lavas. This section was destroyed during placer mining opration. Coordinates from Preece et al. (2011).
