Preece_2000_site_3	64.011	-139.1	McAtee, C.	1979-01-01				Hunker Creek, Yukon Territory, Canada. Site 3 of Preece et al. (2000). At MIBEN-2 cut in 4.1 m of stony silt, sand and gravel with peaty horizons overlying 1.2 m peat and tree stems. Underlying the peat is 2 m of laminated, brown, organic, clay-rich silt with peat, plant stems, wood and peat. Brown silt is underlain by 2 m of sand and imbricated gravel. Additional unsampled tephra beds occurred at 5.8 m and 6.5 m above the imbricated gravels. This valley bottom section was destroyed during placer mining operations. Coordinates from Preece et al. (2011). Datum not specified, assumed to be NAD83.	Maximum thickness of 31 cm. Faintly laminated UT107 is 1.7 m and in the same section as UT106 and UT108. Pumice within grey organic silt.
