Text Description:
3 cm of dark grey gritty silt overlying peat bed. BSE imaging (Fig. 11 a) showed glass shards dispersed in a matrix of lithics and mineral crystals. A chemical composition was obtained, but the analyses showed sufficient variation to conclude the sample has been reworked. Sample was not used by Carson (1998) for correlation purposes.
