97EC8D, 97EC8E, 97EC8F, 97EC8G, and 97EC8H are samples of the same ash deposit with multiple components (see Carson 1998 page 62). Stratified yellowish brown silt and sand, interpreted to represent redeposition of a single ashfall in this stream basin.
