Text Description: 1-cm-thick tephra that has a basal white bed and darker upper bed, with a distinct color contact between the two. Occurs as pods that have been microfaulted within massive grey silt (5Y6/2) with small oxidation blebs. Sharp, irregular lower contact and a diffuse upper contact; crops out about 30 cm above UT816 and UT817. Average color is 10YR7/1, the tephra is oxidized. References: ![]() ![]() |

The exposure was created during construction of the George Parks Highway in the 1960s and is mostly comprised of the Goldstream Formation. Location coordinates from Preece and others (2011); coordinates vary slightly from those reported in Jensen and others (2011).
