Text Description:	~1 to ~2 cm below tephra D. Thin (~0.5 cm), dark tephra with a fine grain size (~40% coarse silt and no fine sand). Composed of mainly altered, platy, brown glass shards. Phnocrystic; vesicles are few and mainly equant and spindle.
