* All totals recalculated to 100% to correct for variable hydration due to local environmental effects. Analytical procedures for all ACT samples based on Beget et al. (1991a). Average composition (and one standard deviation error) reported in weight percent; N=number of glass shards analyzed. ACT samples are kept in permanent collection at the Alaska Center for Tephrochronology (ACT) of the University of Alaska. Sample IR75a data is from Riehle et al. (1992); all others analyzed by Beget. *
