AKN Aviation Camera Relocation
On January 14, 2014, the King Salmon aviation cameras were removed from the web site in preparation for the relocation of the site. The cameras will be relocated to the control tower at the King Salmon airport on or around 15 January 2014. Once the new site has been installed and tested, it will return to the web site for public use. We expect to have the camera site back online on or around 24 January 2014. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working to improve the reliability and value of the cameras for the aviation community. Thank you.

Outage Notification for McGrath camera site
Due to a change in communications provider for the McGrath camera site, the cameras will be unavailable starting on or around 16 November 2013. The site will remain offline until the new communications solution is in place. We do not have an estimated date of restoral at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience, and are working diligently to restore service to this location. Thank you.

The camera information contained on this website is a designated FAA supplementary product. Camera images are generally updated every 10 minutes. The time of the last update is indicated on each image. Current site conditions may differ from displayed images due to a variety of reasons; i.e., rapidly changing conditions, image update frequency, optical distortion, etc. As a supplementary product, these images may only be used to improve situational awareness. They may not be used to comply with regulatory requirements; e.g., to determine weather minimums for IFR flight. METAR information is provided for planning purposes only. It is recommended that you contact a Flight Service Station for a complete pilot weather briefing and all pertinent NOTAM information by dialing 1-800-WX-BRIEF (992-7433).
