No activity observed in satellite images or web camera images over the past 24 hours. No unusual volcanic activity observed in seismic data in the past 24 hours. A magnitude 5.9 earthquake occurred south of Cleveland volcano, but has been determined to be a regional earthquake and not volcanogenic.

54°45'19" N 163°58'16" W, Summit Elevation 9373 ft (2857 m)
Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH
Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE

Low-level eruptive activity within the summit crater of Shishaldin likely continues. The level of seismicity remains above background. No activity was detected in satellite images or web camera images of Shishaldin over the past day.
