Over the past day, multiple satellite images have shown strongly elevated temperatures at Cleveland's summit. This is consistent with the growth of a new lava dome in the summit crater, though as of yet we have no direct observations to confirm this.

No unusual seismicity has occurred today. The webcam has been obscured by low-lying clouds.

Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE

Low-level eruptive activity in the summit crater continues. Seismicity remains above background levels. Clouds obscured views by web camera and satellite over the past 24 hours.
