Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH

Low-level eruptive activity continues within the summit crater. Elevated surface temperatures were detected in overnight satellite images, and a persistent steam plume was visible in webcam images over the past day. Seismicity remains above background levels and is characterized by continuous seismic tremor.

Elevated surface temperatures were detected in overnight satellite images. The webcam was obscured by clouds over the past day. No significant activity was detected in seismic or infrasound (air pressure) data during the past 24 hours.
