Low-level eruptive activity continues within the summit crater. Elevated surface temperatures were detected in an overnight satellite image, and a persistent steam plume was visible in webcam images over the past day. Seismicity remains above background levels and is characterized by continuous seismic tremor.

Elevated surface temperatures were detected in overnight satellite images. The webcam was obscured by fog over the past day.

The increase in temperature at the summit over the past few days is consistent with renewed growth of the small lava dome within the summit crater. The possibility of sudden explosions has increased.
