Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH
Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE

Low-level eruptive activity continues within the summit crater. Elevated surface temperatures were observed in one satellite image of Shishaldin over the past 24 hours. Web camera views showed a persistent steam plume yesterday afternoon and evening. Seismicity remains above background levels and is characterized by continuous seismic tremor.
