Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH

Elevated surface temperatures at the summit were observed in satellite data in the past 24 hours. Web camera images show a light steam plume over the last 24 hours. Seismicity has increased slightly over the last several hours. It is unknown if this increase will result in ash emissions or explosions. This morning the volcano has been obscured by clouds in both satellite and web camera views. AVO is monitoring the volcano closely.

Current Volcano Alert Level: ADVISORY
Current Aviation Color Code: YELLOW

No activity was detected in cloudy to partly cloudy satellite data and web camera images in the last 24 hours. No significant events in seismic or infrasound (air pressure) data were detected.
