Low-level eruptive activity continues. Sound waves were detected from the direction of Shishaldin on infrasound sensors in Dillingham over the past day, consistent with the low-level activity. Satellite observations were mostly cloudy and the summit was obscured by clouds in webcam images. No significant activity noted in seismic data.

No volcanic activity was observed in clear satellite images over the past 24 hours. Scientists working in the area report no unusual activity.

SEMISOPOCHNOI VOLCANO (VNUM #311060)
51°55'44" N 179°35'52" E, Summit Elevation 2625 ft (800 m)
Current Volcano Alert Level: ADVISORY
Current Aviation Color Code: YELLOW

Earthquakes continue to be recorded. Nothing unusual was observed in mostly cloudy satellite images over the past day. AVO has received no reports from pilots or mariners of any unusual activity.
