The low-level eruption of Pavlof continues. Elevated surface temperatures, seen in satellite imagery, persist at the summit of the volcano which is consistent with lava at the surface. Last night (5/31)weak incandescent glowing at the summit was observed in FAA web camera images located in Cold Bay. Clouds obscured views of the volcano by web camera today. No ash clouds have been detected in satellite imagery. Weak seismic activity is being detected on the Pavlof network. Yesterday small explosion signals were detected by a distant infrasound sensor.
