SHISHALDIN VOLCANO (VNUM #311360)

Elevated surface temperatures were observed at the summit of Shishaldin today, similar to observations made on 1/30/14. A clear web camera image from yesterday however, showed no steaming from the summit area. AVO will continue to monitor Shishaldin closely.

No unusual activity was observed at Cleveland in satellite data in the past 24 hours.

Cleveland volcano does not have a local seismic network and is monitored using only distant seismic and infrasound instruments and satellite data.

Seismicity at Veniaminof remains slightly above background. No unusual activity was observed in satellite data, web camera images, or by local observers in the past 24 hours.
