The volcano is presently obscured by clouds. Satellite images obtained late yesterday indicated minor flowage deposits on the upper flanks of the volcano. AVO has received no new evidence of further activity at Cleveland following a small ash emission on Sunday evening.

AVO has no real-time seismic network at Cleveland which means we are unable to track local earthquake activity related to volcanic unrest. Unrest at Cleveland is frequent, and short-lived explosions with ash clouds or plumes that could exceed 20,000 ft above sea level can occur without warning and may go undetected on satellite imagery.
