Clear nighttime satellite views of Cleveland in the last 24 hours show no signs of activity.

No additional eruptive activity has been observed at Cleveland since the brief eruption at approximately 2330 AKDT October 2 (0730 UTC October 3).

The lack of a real-time seismic network at Cleveland means that AVO is unable to track local earthquake activity related to volcanic unrest. Short-lived explosions with ash plumes that could exceed 20,000 ft above sea level can occur without warning and may go undetected on satellite imagery.

Seismic activity at Shishaldin remains low. The Webcam has been inoperable since October 10, and recent satellite views have been mostly obscured by clouds.
