Observers in Perryville, 20 miles south of Veniaminof, report seeing a small steam plume over the volcano during the past week. Today's poor weather prevented any observations.
A pilot observed steam plumes this morning rising from multiple vents to approximately 2000 feet above the summit.

Seismicity at Spurr, Augustine, Redoubt and Iliamna
volcanoes remains at normal levels.
The Alaska Volcano Observatory continues to seismically
monitor Spurr, Augustine, Redoubt and Iliamna volcanoes.

notifying AVO seismologists during non business hours
should unusual seismic activity occur.
