Cloudy weather conditions obscured the volcano for most of the week. Observers in Perryville report clear conditions today and no sign of activity at the volcano. Satellite imagery on November 17 revealed a possible "hot spot" within the caldera indicating that low level activity probably continues.

Seismic activity at Spurr, Augustine, Redoubt and Iliamna
volcanoes remains at normal levels.
The Alaska Volcano Observatory continues to seismically
monitor Spurr, Augustine, Redoubt and Iliamna volcanoes.

notifying AVO seismologists during non business hours
should unusual seismic activity occur.
